Biography
He was born in 1960 in Avanos. In 1984, he graduated from 9 Eylül University, Medical Faculty and within the same year, he started studying Acupuncture in Switzerland. In 1985, Sri LankanHe attended 4th European Acupuncture and Natural Medicine Congress held in Copenhagen, Denmark.In 1988, he went to China to gain his master’s degree on Acupuncture treatment.After studying on this field in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong-Kong, he continued his observations and studies in Philippines and USA.He was invited to 2nd Global Congress held by WFAS 1990 in Paris, and he presented his declaration on obesity and treatment by obesity He attended the 3rd Global Acupuncture Congress held in Kyoto,Now He is the president of Turkish Acupuncture SocietyDuring the International Congress held in New York City, USA on September 20, 1996, he presented a declaration on Obesity and Acupuncture. On 1st of November, 1996 he attended to the „Assembly to Determine the Norms of Acupuncture“ held by WHO in Cervia Town of Italy organized by Milan Medical Faculty as an observer on behalf of Turkey.He was present at the congress of Federation of Global Acupuncture Foundations held in China between October-November 1997.In 1998, November, Dr.Murat TOPOĞLU was invited to the Chinese Medicine Congress held in Brazil and he conducted a conference and a workshop there.Between August 12 and16, 1999, he attended to the Ear Acupuncture Convention held in Las Vegas, USA. After passing the National Ear Acupuncture Examination held here, he obtained the right to study on this subject in USA.In 2000, May, he attended the Ear Acupuncture Congress held in Lyon, France.He attended the meeting of 2nd Obesity Institution held in Turkey between 04th and 06th October 2000 In 2003, he taught at the Acupuncture Course started by the Medical Faculty of Gazi University.He was chosen to teach the physicians at the Acupuncture courses started at Yeditepe University and Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty.Between 1991 and 2005,
